“I was born and raised in Southwest Michigan where I joined the Girl Scouts in fourth grade. I rose to the position of Camp Counselor and Waterfront Director for Camp Merrie Woode during my college years. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. degree in Communications.

During my college years, I met my husband (Craig). We have been together for over 36 years. We decided to stay in Southwest Michigan to raise our family and build our very successful 193-unit storage facility (JCB Storage). I also began my 33-year membership with Sweet Adelines International (a barbershop harmony music organization).

In early 2022, Craig and I decided to begin “Phase 3” of our lives, and that brought us to Chattanooga, TN. We chose this area of the country for its natural beauty, mild winters, and the great Southern Hospitality. We live up on Mowbray Mountain in Soddy-Daisy.

Craig, who is 9 years older, is fully retiring. I, on the other hand, have started my new career as a Mobile Notary Public. I am so excited about helping my new fellow Tennesseans with all of their notary needs and continuing my affiliation with the Sweet Adelines by joining the Chattanooga Chapter, called Scenic City Chorus.
