This Privacy Policy explains how Priority Mobile Notary Services, LLC (“we”, “us”), owned and operated by Karen McCormick, a Tennessee Notary Public, collects and uses personal information through this website and our notary services. Our mailing address is 5251-C Hwy 153 #118, Hixson, TN 37343.
Information we collect
- Information you send us: when you call, email or submit our contact or intake form, you give us details such as your name, phone number, email address, appointment location and the type of document you need notarized.
- Information recorded at an appointment: to perform a notarization we verify each signer’s identity, usually by examining a government-issued photo ID. We record details of each notarial act, such as the date, type of act, signer’s name and identification details, as permitted or required by Tennessee law. We do not keep copies of your documents unless you ask us to or the law requires it.
- Website usage information: like most websites, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (through Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. These services use cookies and collect information such as your device, browser, approximate location and pages visited. They do not tell us who you are.
How we use information
- To respond to you, schedule and confirm appointments, and travel to the meeting location.
- To perform notarial acts and keep the records Tennessee law requires.
- To improve our website and understand which information visitors find useful.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the website and forms (for example, our website host, the form provider and Google Analytics), under their own privacy terms;
- with the parties to your transaction when you ask us to (for example, returning a signed loan package to the lender or title company that arranged the signing);
- when required by law, subpoena or court order.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The website works without analytics cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep contact and scheduling information only as long as needed to provide the service and follow up. Notarial records are kept for the period required by Tennessee law and good notary practice.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website and careful handling of identification details. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive documents or ID images by ordinary email unless we have agreed on it.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online.
